Why I built Halo.

I've spent five years building in the industry. I've been playing games since before I could read.

Most recently I co-founded XP.GG, a gaming platform built on top of Fortnite and partnered with industry titans Riot Games, TALON Esports and GIANTX. We hit 200k users at peak.

While I was inside that world I kept talking to parents. What shocked me was how little they could see of their children's social lives in gaming. The talking happens inside the game: voice in the lobby, messages in the chat. It's the most social place their children go, and the one place a parent can't check.

My experience with kids in gaming comes from my own years playing, having six younger sisters, and being an au pair to two boys aged eleven and twelve.

I built Halo because I want my own children to experience what I love about gaming. Yours too.
